Session Description:
When the best instructional design meets the end of your development tool's capabilities, knowing how to extend its native functions can ensure you don't have to compromise. This session is designed for noncoders by a "coder wannabe" to help empower instructional designers with the basics of JavaScript integration. We'll take a look at three program cases where JavaScript was used to ensure that programs were effective, efficient, and impactful. If you're a code dabbler, a JavaScript newbie, or a daring developer, you'll leave this session with the information you need to get JavaScript running in your course.
