TH311HOL - Editing Video: An Introduction

Thu, Jan 25 | 2:15 PM - 4:30 PM | LL21A

Session Description:
Many organizations have begun to use video e-learning because it can easily be shared, is a familiar medium to work in, and is familiar to learners. If you're new to video though, it can feel complicated, and it can be difficult to level up skills quickly. During this session, we will dive into video editing basics. You'll be provided with multiple files, some ready to go, and others that will need your help. You will then have a chance to practice and learn tips, tricks, and the basics of video editing. This session will use Camtasia, and focus on beginning skills that will apply regardless of the video editing tool you use in the office.

Application on the Job:
Edit nonlinear video, piece together multiple videos, and use b-roll effectively.
Synch audio and video and apply text graphics.
Apply effective organizational techniques for video and supporting media.
